This is not a story about Ownever, it’s a story about Fernando - one of the few artisans that keeps alive the art of hand weaving.

This handbag was born from our most cherished memories: our great grandmothers. A time where time was slow, and every thread was preciously weaved for days.

Stories about when everything was made from scratch and made to last: linen was planted and harvested, and wool came from the sheep they raised.

INSPIRED BY THE BAUHAUS WEAVER SCHOOL - Gunta Stölzl When we joined Fernando on this path to design a pattern for this handbag, we were inspired by the Bauhaus weaver school. Gunta Stölzl was an amazing inspiration.
After many trials and designs, this pattern was born, and thread by thread, pull by pull, Fernando gave it life.

The art of all artisans is the real path to timelessness and uniqueness.
It’s about the small imperfections and the real pleasure felt when a piece of art is created.
